FAQ

What can I expect on a Samsara retreat?

Our retreats are hidden from society and surrounded by nature but we make sure the biggest comfort possible is granted for the body.
You will be able to explore mysterious ancient sites, charming colonial towns, gorgeous landscapes, delicious cuisine, world-class spas, remarkable indigenous wisdom.

Do I need yoga experience on healing retreat?

We welcome participants of all levels, from absolute beginners to advanced yogis. Meditation & Healing retreats are not just for active spiritual seekers who practice every day. Our retreats offer opportunities for growth and new experience, no matter how much time you have spent (or haven’t spent yet) on your mat. Regardless, we suggest keeping an open mind and trying out practices that might be new to you.

Can I go on a Retreat by myself?

Yes! A lot of our participants come alone and often leave with lifelong friends. We all started as (and keep being – from time to time -) lone travelers. If you’re traveling alone, an adventure or healing retreat is the best way to meet new people with similar interests in a safe environment. And you already have something in common with the people around you: the love of nature!

How many people will be on the retreats?

We work in small and intimate sized groups during the retreat to be able to give the best of our attention to everyone. Our guides are highly-qualified and devoted souls. Our groups are joyful, we love to have fun and to be open-minded to exchange thoughts. Group sizes may depend on which trip you are joining, but generally you can expect 10 to 15 people.

What kind of food can I expect?

Healthy and organic food is a part of the retreat experience. The cuisine is simple, delicious and local, using fresh ingredients from organic gardens and local markets.

What should I bring?

Please see trip description for the specific list of items we recommend, but you should generally bring: yoga mat, sunscreen, warm clothes for the nights, photo camera and we always include on the list: smile and peace!

Do I need to book my own flight or arrange my own transfer?

You are responsible for booking your own flight. We always indicate in the description of each trip which airport is the most suitable to arrive. It is also always stated if the transport from the airport included in the price or not. Even if it’s not, we always offer to arrange it for you for an additional fee. If you’d prefer this option, please contact us for more details.
