What can I expect on a Samsara retreat?
Our retreats are hidden from society and surrounded by nature but we make sure the biggest comfort possible is granted for the body.
You will be able to explore mysterious ancient sites, charming colonial towns, gorgeous landscapes, delicious cuisine, world-class spas, remarkable indigenous wisdom.
Do I need yoga experience on healing retreat?
We welcome participants of all levels, from absolute beginners to advanced yogis. Meditation & Healing retreats are not just for active spiritual seekers who practice every day. Our retreats offer opportunities for growth and new experience, no matter how much time you have spent (or haven’t spent yet) on your mat. Regardless, we suggest keeping an open mind and trying out practices that might be new to you.
Can I go on a Retreat by myself?
Yes! A lot of our participants come alone and often leave with lifelong friends. We all started as (and keep being – from time to time -) lone travelers. If you’re traveling alone, an adventure or healing retreat is the best way to meet new people with similar interests in a safe environment. And you already have something in common with the people around you: the love of nature!
How many people will be on the retreats?
We work in small and intimate sized groups during the retreat to be able to give the best of our attention to everyone. Our guides are highly-qualified and devoted souls. Our groups are joyful, we love to have fun and to be open-minded to exchange thoughts. Group sizes may depend on which trip you are joining, but generally you can expect 10 to 15 people.
What kind of food can I expect?
Healthy and organic food is a part of the retreat experience. The cuisine is simple, delicious and local, using fresh ingredients from organic gardens and local markets.
What should I bring?
Please see trip description for the specific list of items we recommend, but you should generally bring: yoga mat, sunscreen, warm clothes for the nights, photo camera and we always include on the list: smile and peace!
Do I need to book my own flight or arrange my own transfer?
You are responsible for booking your own flight. We always indicate in the description of each trip which airport is the most suitable to arrive. It is also always stated if the transport from the airport included in the price or not. Even if it’s not, we always offer to arrange it for you for an additional fee. If you’d prefer this option, please contact us for more details.
What should I know about the cancellation policy?
Payments are refundable with written notice up to 30 days prior to retreat start date, minus 250 EUR non-refundable registration expense.
With written notice up to 30 days prior to retreat start date, payments may be transferred to another Samsara retreat program occurring within the following 12 months.
No refunds or transfers for any payments will be provided within 29 days prior to retreat start date. Samsara reserves the right to make any changes deemed necessary by our team. In the rare case of a cancellation on the part of Samsara we will offer a transfer to another trip or a full refund of your funds. Samsara is not responsible for any expenses or damages incurred as a result of trip cancellation including preparation costs, airline tickets, travel documents or other expenses.
Samsara reserves the right to cancel any trip prior to departure in the event that there are too few people booked in which case you will be given a full refund of any and all payments made to Samsara. You will not be entitled to claim any additional amounts or seek any compensation for any injury, loss, expenses or damage (either direct or consequential) or for any loss of time or inconvenience which may result from such cancellation (including but not limited to visa, passport and vaccination charges, or departure, gear purchases, airport and airline taxes).
Please contact us directly if you are interested in a payment plan or if you would prefer alternative conditions for booking (for example booking in e-mail and paying through bank wire transfer, etc.) We want to make our trips accessible to as many people as possible and we are open to different solutions.
